NSW: Skase money trail leads to two Caribbean companies: report

The Australian says two obscure Caribbean companies could hold the key to unlocking
the late CHRISTOPHER SKASE'S missing fortunes.

SKASE'S trustee in bankruptcy, MAX DONNELLY, has told The Australian that SKASE sought
to hide his ultimate ownership of his Majorcan mansion La Noria in a web of nominated
companies.

Mr DONNELLY has told the newspaper there is evidence that the companies are now controlled
by SKASE'S son-in-law TONY LARKINS.

Mr LARKINS is wanted in Australia for failing to appear at a Federal Court bankruptcy
examination.

The Australian says the ownership of La Noria is crucial to the investigation as it
was the likely launching pad for SKASE'S post-Quintex business career.

Mr DONNELLY rejects claims by SKASE'S family that he died penniless, saying that the
fugitive financier fled Australia in 1991 with cash and assets worth up to $15 million.
